About this artwork
This piece is representative of my thoughts about the coming 12 months in the age of Covid 19. My process was very complex for this piece. It's actually two abstract methods blended into a single piece. There are wonderful areas of detail, hidden hand rendered drawing and great depth. The work included acrylics, silk screening, masking, markers and spray paint. Hope you enjoy it.

Bio- David Levy is an American conceptual abstract artist whose work fuses intellectual inquiry with expressive form. After a successful career in advertising, he transitioned to self taught, full-time artmaking in 2017. Since then, his practice has grown rapidly, with a concentrated period of production between 2019 and 2023, shaped by lockdown and stay at home care for his wife over a 5-year period. Levy’s work spans geometric abstraction, illusionistic constructions, and concept-driven series that resist stylistic repetition. His paintings have been exhibited from New York to San Francisco and are held in private collections across the United States, Europe, and Japan.
