About this artwork
One of the painters earliest memories is of being taken into a Blacksmith's Forge to have his push chair mended with copper wire. The smell of the forge never left him so this is a Celebration of that day.
Being a Celt I've always thought of Blacksmiths as almost magical figures with a true Deep Knowledge of the world.
