« A traditional approach to composition with a modern touch hopefully makes me a true 'contemporary Impressionist'. »
David Nowlan takes the skill and techniques from impressionism and translates them in a contemporary way. The Irish painter endeavors to paint the beauty and creativity of the world, either in homage to great thinkers and artists, or to capture the uniqueness of a face. Many of Nowlan's works are an exploration of colors and shades in order to capture a particular mood or moment. He creates using oils on canvas and wood.
