David Rees is an artist based in the United Kingdom whose paintings have been exhibited in England and Scottland. His distinctive figurative and animal depictions are created with an "organic approach". Rees often begins each composition without a set idea or theme. His backgrounds are created using both dripping and flicking techniques, creating multi-textural canvases that lend expression and movement to his subjects.
