About this artwork
This work is several years old. Made of metal, welded, I burned some paint on it, hence the patina. At my home it is outside all the time, but it is also a nice piece to put inside on a stand ... Unique in kind, just like all my works.
Because it is always outside, some rust is already coming back through the paint, a visual aspect that I like. Every few years I treat my sculptures with a mixture of 1/3 linseed oil and 2/3 turpentine. That offers… some protection and refreshes the sculptures. If this work is sold, I will of course do the same for the work in question.

David Vanorbeek is an experienced sculptor based in France whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Belgium, the Netherlands, England, Spain, Germany, and Andorra. He describes all of his pieces as being connected with nature. As an animal rights activist, Vanorbeek places importance on respecting nature, animals, and people. His distinctive compositions are most often created with stainless steel.
