About this artwork
With this work I wanted to represent the human soul through the image of a building. The use of acrylic allowed me to create a vivid and rough, almost palpable texture, evoking the intense and raw emotions that lie within the facets of everyday life. The figurative lines interact with the urban architecture, bringing a deep emotional charge and a hint of mystery into your home.
Davide Carrozzo
Italy
Davide Carrozzo, a self-taught painter with training in architecture, creates his works with acrylics on canvas or MDF panels. Precisely thanks to fluid and rapid brushstrokes, characterized by surprising drips, he develops an artistic language in which control and spontaneity integrate perfectly. His works transcend the simple depiction of buildings and architectural spaces, becoming poetic tales of interior spaces and states of mind generated by human existence.
