Davide Cocozza (b. 1982, Bari, Italy) is a contemporary artist, art therapist and educator based in Monopoli. His practice spans painting, performance and installation, combining traditional techniques with sustainable materials such as biochar and recycled pigments. Defining his vision as ethical-humanitarian art, he addresses ecology, animal rights and social justice through symbolic imagery and visionary animals. Key collaborations with Franco Summa, master of urban color, Victor Perez, acclaimed filmmaker and digital artist, and Cesare Manzo, influential gallerist, shaped his multidisciplinary path. Today he works with Velia Littera at Pavart Gallery in Rome, with whom he has developed projects like Like a Zoo (Rome, 2024) and international shows such as Bio360 Expo (Nantes, 2025). His works are part of collections including the Princess Diana Museum (USA) and the University of Tokyo. For Cocozza, art is not neutral: it is awareness, compassion and transformation.
