Davide De Luca, through oils and acrylics sometimes mixed with sand, shapes an imaginative informal atmosphere. It outlines vast chromatic fields, nuances that give life to ethereal worlds, in a dance free from conventions. His works are an invitation to emotional freedom, they evoke dreams and pareidolia, they whisper a personal story to every observer.
Since he was a child he has been passionate about painting, thanks to an uncle who was a collector, visiting the museums and art galleries that Rome in the 70s and 80s could offer.
The first works on paper date back to childhood.
Artistically he is self-taught who has gone through the ranks, finding his own style and exhibiting first in small galleries then in important spaces with successful solo exhibitions.
