About this artwork
This painting Is to be exhibited at the Sydney Other Art Fair in September 2020. It was inspired by the Robert F. Kennedy Bridge in New York. I was particularly interested in the negative and positive spatial relationships and created his own colour scheme to maximise depth in his painting.

Dean OCallaghan is an artist based in Australia whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally. Inspired by American Minimalism and Russian Suprematism, he continuously explores new manners of employing hard-edge minimalist techniques. Although abstract, OCallaghan's compositions are not concerned with mathematical or color theories. Instead, they are based on his experiences of reality. He creates using acrylics on canvas.
