About this artwork
“Making Tracks” is a painting created in my breakthrough series, and is inspired by viewing the landscape from an aerial perspective. Using areas of flat colour and line, my goal was to create a painting that is minimalist interpretation of looking down on an area of land with sealed and unsealed road moving across the landscape.

Dean OCallaghan is an artist based in Australia whose paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions nationally.
