About this artwork
"Feeling Lost." is an original oil painting on canvas that captures the poignant feeling of being adrift. The artist uses the realism style to depict people, perhaps refugees, in a moment of vulnerability.
The painting is rendered in oil on linen canvas, with painted sides meaning no frame is needed. The use of oil paint allows for rich colors and a depth of texture, enhancing the emotional impact of the work. The subjects, including a girl in a… swimsuit and a floaty, evoke a sense of innocence juxtaposed with the feeling of being lonely, lost and abandoned.
This medium-sized piece would be a meaningful addition to any space, prompting reflection and conversation. Its message is particularly relevant in today's world, offering a visual representation of the human experience.
Invite "Feeling Lost." into your home and let it serve as a reminder of empathy and connection.

'A storyteller of wandering thoughts in paint'.
Her paintings are inspired by personal memories and thoughts about life in general. She brings small and big issues and questions of our everyday life into her paintings and she loves to do this in a rather 'playful' and storytelling way .
Some of her paintings are permeated with an idealized vision of the world others are filled with second thoughts and questions.
Driven by a sense of play and curiosity , she wants her artwork to be aesthetic and peaceful. When she is not painting or drawing , she probably is playing her piano or guitar or quietly reading a book.
"To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment " cfr. Ralph Waldo Emerson
