About this artwork
“Envy” is a mural sculpture that functions as a tense and silent visual system. In this work, I seek to represent that emotion that doesn't erupt outward, but rather twists inward: lines that intersect without touching, forms that approach and recede, paths that seem to compete with each other. One can observe this internal friction where tension accumulates in a small space. Looking at the sculpture, one can see how a contained, almost sharp rhythm…
is generated, suggesting comparison, desire, and distance. In this piece, I work with geometry as an emotional language: structures that gaze at each other, that imitate each other, that confront each other. Within the Deadly Sins series, “Envy” is the hushed voice, the sidelong glance, the energy that moves silently but never disappears.

I am a sculptor of canvases. My work explores the boundaries between painting and sculpture, transforming the canvas into a space where color, form, and matter acquire their own presence.
My creative process stems from experimentation. Each piece is an independent exploration in which I test forms, materials, textures, reliefs, and spatial relationships. I don't follow a predetermined visual formula: I let the decisions and discoveries of the process itself shape each piece.
Color occupies a central place in my work. It is the medium through which I explore and express emotions, while forms, textures, and volume expand its expressive possibilities. From conventional painting to flat sculptures and relief works, I investigate different ways of freeing the artwork from the traditional plane and making it dialogue with the space that surrounds it.
