About this artwork
In "Dawns and Furies" stark contrasts define the canvas, with intensely dark and light areas creating a dramatic visual tension. Muted tones form a brooding backdrop, pierced by the brilliance of bright yellow, blue, and cadmium red highlights while the composition ascends with powerful circular movements of light.
Against a backdrop of furiously dark, gloomy energies, the painting is a visual battlefield. Yet, within this tumult, bursts of bright… hues symbolize the unwavering fire of hope
The canvas becomes a visual representation of breaking free from old beliefs, embracing a collective spirit that defies differences. It invites contemplation on endurance amid adversity and celebrates the dawn of possibility within chaos.
A call to action, it whispers that even in the darkest moments, the battle is never truly lost encourages us to find strength and carry the flame of hope through the fiercest of furies.
Painted on quality acid free paper for painters, framed and ready to hang.
« In the beginning, the mind is as blank as the canvas. Then the hands begin their dance, the heart chooses its colors, and the emotions their expression. »
Delphine Bernard is an artist based in France whose paintings have been widely exhibited in Singapore and Indonesia. She compares each of her compositions as being like a vision or a dream and characterizes her artistic process to being "shamanistic". Bernard creates intuitively, allowing her hands to "dance and play" with colors on the canvas. Her vibrant compositions are created using acrylics on canvas.
