About this artwork
"DREAM ON" envelops viewers in a serene, nostalgic reverie. Against a light, foggy background of pastel colors, delicate strokes of white and yellow from palette knives, interspersed with smalltouches of black, evoke dream-like scenes like half-erased frescoes.
The ambiance is soft and gentle, exuding a subtle nostalgia that speaks of days gone by or dreams of an undefined future, all bathed in quiet light.
Through its ethereal beauty and evocative… composition, "DREAM ON" invites contemplation and reflection, transporting viewers to a realm where time seems to stand still.
Painted on quality acid free paper made especially for painters, framed and ready to hang.(see video) - Frame is 60X80, black or white
« In the beginning, the mind is as blank as the canvas. Then the hands begin their dance, the heart chooses its colors, and the emotions their expression. »
Delphine Bernard is an artist based in France whose paintings have been widely exhibited in Singapore and Indonesia. She compares each of her compositions as being like a vision or a dream and characterizes her artistic process to being "shamanistic". Bernard creates intuitively, allowing her hands to "dance and play" with colors on the canvas. Her vibrant compositions are created using acrylics on canvas.
