About this artwork
New Alliance is bursting with bold, vibrant colors such as blue, light turquoise, pink, yellow, and red.
The use of foam rollers and the delicate, quick and light strokes of palette knives create texture and movement, with upward surging lines dominating the composition.
The painting is alive with movement, as if the elements of nature are dancing and swirling in a joyous celebration of life.
The rainbow which seem to appear in the painting is… a particularly powerful symbol, representing the Ark of Alliance between humanity and nature. It is a reminder that we are all connected to the natural world, and that we have a responsibility to protect and preserve it for future generations.
This is a painting on quality acid free paper made especially for painters.
It is sold stretched on high quality cardboard and framed by a 2 cm deep white wooden frame. Ready to hang!

« In the beginning, the mind is as blank as the canvas. Then the hands begin their dance, the heart chooses its colors, and the emotions their expression. »
Delphine Bernard is an artist based in France whose paintings have been widely exhibited in Singapore and Indonesia. She compares each of her compositions as being like a vision or a dream and characterizes her artistic process to being "shamanistic". Bernard creates intuitively, allowing her hands to "dance and play" with colors on the canvas. Her vibrant compositions are created using acrylics on canvas.
