About this artwork
UNSUITABLE...
"Who cannot adapt to his environment, to society." The misfit, often abused by his environment, by society, hides many riches within him... See his view of the world... See his heart... his colors... what makes him a unique being. ..
In order to give depth and relief to the portrait, the artist used different brushes and knives which she scraped on the canvas. The artist played with the material and the reliefs thanks to the different… knives!
Very interesting and original composition work!
"Failed" Benjamin Biolay
Missed by a bit, a detail, a hair, a word
A syllable or two
Missed nothing, a smile, a sigh too many
With a hideous headbutt
Missed by little, neither the fault with bad luck, nor with God
Empty and unscrupulous
Missed from nothing, the shabby, the sublime and radiant
One step ahead, one step ahead to the skies
How short, alas, this disgusting life
What a dead end, up there, I come and go
...
