About this artwork
Through this work, I seek to explore the limits of expression and the purity of abstraction. The brushstrokes are guided by raw emotion, acrylic and gouache merging to capture the essence of the tangible and the ephemeral. This painting is an invitation to introspection, a silent dialogue between art and the soul of the viewer, adding an energetic and contemplative dimension to any home.

Denis De Mot (1955) is a Belgian painter who started painting professionally in 1996. An economist by training and a computer scientist by profession, he changed his path halfway through his life and has devoted himself entirely to painting for almost twenty-five years. He lives and works in Gesves (Belgium). He exhibits regularly and his works can be found in collections in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, England, Hong Kong and the United States.
