About this artwork
In this work I sought to capture the essence of the abstract through the bold use of acrylic and gouache. Flowing lines and warm colors intertwine, evoking a feeling of perpetual movement. Denis De Mot (1955) is a Belgian painter who started painting professionally in 1996. An economist by training and a computer scientist by profession, he changed his path halfway through his life and has devoted himself entirely to painting for almost twenty-five years. He lives and works in Gesves (Belgium). He exhibits regularly and his works can be found in collections in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, England, Hong Kong and the United States.
