Denis Young is a Dutch painter and printmaker whose works have been featured in exhibitions and prizes nationally. He explores the idea of visual discoveries in human faces by composing portraits with conscious exclusion of eyes and extra focus on wrinkles. Using an aluminium relief as his basis, he harnesses a rare compositional technique to create unique, mysterious works.
