Denise Buisman Pilger is a prizewinning painter based in Japan whose work has been exhibited in solo and group shows internationally. Growing up in Amsterdam, she was exposed to a lot of fine art museums and always felt the urge to create. Through her current practice, she combines photography and acrylic painting to create layered image transfers of cityscapes. Her work is made up of black and white color palettes with a splash of primary colors to highlight certain features.
