About this artwork
In this work, I sought to capture the soothing majesty of this Tibetan lake, blending figuration and abstraction to evoke the depth of emotion. The gentle curves of the hills and the subtle nuances of blue and green create an atmosphere of calm and contemplation. The vibrant sky conveys the presence of the wind in the clouds and throughout the landscape. The transparencies of my brushstrokes translate this invisible breath.
