About this artwork
In this work, created with vibrant acrylic paints, I capture the impetuous power and beauty of a wave. The combination of deep blue, exciting green and pure white creates a dynamic play of shapes that reminds viewers of the boundless energy and mystery of the seas. This painting embodies the freedom and wildness of nature, and brings this energy into any room.
Dennis Bätz, an artist specializing in acrylic pouring, only later followed his childhood calling to art. Through meticulous planning, he produces abstract works, magnificent in color, contrast, and composition. His art invites individual interpretation and brings a universe of ideas to life. "It feels as if I am looking through a new pair of eyes and the world is revealing itself to me in a new light." With these words, Dennis Bätz described his artistic career at his first solo exhibition in 2022, from monochrome, graphic works that shaped his work for decades, to colorful abstraction. Consequently, the opening and subsequent exhibition were named "Color Frenzy". Years of experimentation and refinement of technique followed, on the one hand, and on the other, the perpetual struggle for artistic expression, the soul of the work.
