About this artwork
The water tumbles effortlessly over smooth rocks, its rhythmic flow creating a soothing melody. The gentle cascade of Buttermilk Falls feels like nature’s invitation to let go and follow the current. The cool, clear water reflects the quiet strength of the landscape, whispering that peace can be found in movement too. Surrounded by soft greenery and shaded stones, the world slows down here, offering a sanctuary for mind and body.
Take a moment to… rest. Let the sound of the falls wash over you, releasing tension like water slipping over rocks. Breathe in the tranquility, and feel your thoughts settle into a steady rhythm, just like the stream. Here, by the flowing water, there is nothing to rush—only the moment to embrace.

Dennis Crayon is an award-winning American painter who has exhibited his works throughout the United States. In 1998, he attended a six-week architectural dig in the ancient ruins of Pompeii. The remarkably well-preserved ancient frescoes and murals would change the course of his creative journey and inspire his artistic vision. Crayon employs his background in classical painting techniques and trompe l’oeil in his oil creations.
