Perfection Zero is part of the Form and Presence series. The space is organized with precision — arches, platforms, stairs, a diamond at the center. On their pedestals, small figures stand and balance, each one placed exactly right. And yet the whole thing feels like a system that cannot settle. Denys Chumachenko is a painter based in Spain. His work moves between abstraction and the figure — bodies that don't fully resolve, forms assembled from gesture, color, and spatial tension rather than narrative.
Over ten years of practice, he has developed a visual language where the figure becomes a field of internal states: present but unstable, recognizable but not fixed. Working primarily in oil and acrylic on wood, he builds surfaces that carry weight through color and gesture rather than illustration.
His works are held in private collections across Europe and have been shown in group exhibitions in Spain, Austria, and the Czech Republic.
