About this artwork
A very in-depth, colorful work that leads to the light. It is signed on the back and can be hung in three different directions, according to the perception of each one.
Initially this work was intended to be cut to allow the realization of small formats of 10 or 12 cm side.
But, once finished, the composition really liked the artist who then decided to keep it as it was.
And that's a great idea because during the last exhibition where it was presented… (Art Expo Paris in June 2021), it received particularly favorable comments.

« To arouse emotions, to try to glimpse the invisible, and to approach the shores of the infinite. »
Through abstract oil paintings, Denys Eustace explores a quest for meaning where philosophy and painting intertwine. His works, nourished by Taoist and Greco-Roman thought, question emptiness, infinity, and impermanence. He is not inspired by the canvases of the masters, but by their writings and research: his in-depth study of Kandinsky's Concerning the Spiritual in Art, for example, the questions posed by Klee and Mondrian, as well as the voices of Lao Tzu, Heraclitus, Pascal, and Shitao, guide his approach.
A self-taught painter, he complemented his training with art history courses at the École du Louvre and by giving lectures. His work has been featured in around one hundred exhibitions, both in France and abroad. He lives and works between Paris and Normandy.
