About this artwork
Cristo was getting a bit of a make over in 2000. I love this shot as i Love Brazil esp Rio De Janierio, what a town, as you drove about the city in the cooling evening air and looked up at him, the scaffolding looked like a white robe hanging down from his open arms, very beautiful sight to behold.

British photographer Derrick Santini remembers picking up his mother's old Agfa bellows camera when he was 14 years old. Now an established photographer, Santini seeks to capture the human condition- people in all their beautiful manifestations- in his work. Santini also explores lenticular photography, allowing him to capture and experiment with motion and stillness. Santini's voyeuristic reportage and confrontational portraiture are piercing, joyful, and haunting.
