About this artwork
In this artwork, I've melded the textural depth of plaster with the vibrancy of acrylic and oil pigments to forge a window into the abstract. Through layered applications and a stripped-back palette, I translate the tension between decay and renewal, shadow and light. This piece pulses with a raw, emotional intensity, inviting contemplation and stirring a sense of the profound in its contrasts, destined to infuse any space with a dynamic energy.

« The messages in my artworks are individual for everyone. They may even alter every day and you can find something new if your emotions have changed. »
Deyan Valkov is an experienced artist based in Bulgaria whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States, Czechia, Spain, Austria, and Luxembourg. He describes his striking works as not adhering to logic, nor to any particular theme. Rather, through spontaneous and intuitive creation, the figures and signs that emerge take on a meaning of their own. The resulting imagery inspires Valkov to entitle compositions.
