About this artwork
The painting is done by juxtaposing several layers of acrylic paint to obtain a relief and a 3D effect. I used white paint on a white background, so light is very important because it will create shadows. Whenever the intensity and direction of the light change, the appearance of the painting will change.

Diana Torje is a prizewinning Romanian artist based in Paris whose works have been exhibited in solo and group shows throughout France. Inspired by nature and organic forms, Torje developed her own abstract style that combines graphics with painting to create labyrinth like pieces. She also creates impressive artworks in the style of pointillism, spending several weeks to apply small acrylic points one by one on the canvas.
