About this artwork
In this series I am including different styles of abstract art. I consider myself an experimental abstract artist, as I like to try different processes, mediums and unconventional tools to create paintings. Oils and Cold Wax, Acrylics, watercolor and Oil Pastels. Division is a layered painting using a limited palette of blue, brown, black and white. The painting is in a strong black frame that accents the black in the painting. Division is a result of letting thoughts run wild while while experimenting with paint and tools. Less thought often results in better cohesive abstract paintings in my experience. It was a delight to see Division evolve into the final form.
