About this artwork
It was a journey in the 90s that Diane Kuster reproduces here. Bermuda is characterized by the blue of the sea, the beach of pink sand and the colors of traditional English houses. Anyone who has been there before will feel the spirit of the archipelago in this picture. And maybe a little longing to linger there again. According to tradition, the traveler is allowed to return if he jumps over a small palm tree before leaving. The artist jumped over…
a palm tree! This work can be viewed as a return.

« My works are not a compromise, they are part of my story. »
Diane Kuster is a German painter who, in recent years, has been creating large-scale, increasingly luminous works. Her visual language appears increasingly free and mature, as she has been able to perfect her style. What once seemed almost controlled and cautious now reflects the courage of a mature woman and artist. Diane Kuster sees herself as a kind of seeker of discoveries, living and developing her full expressive power. Diane Kuster is now considered an established artist, and her hometown of Hamm has dedicated impressive solo exhibitions to her in recent years. Her works can be found in collections worldwide and in public buildings. It is a pleasure to engage with Kuster's work and enjoy her talent in handling colors.
