About this artwork
This work unfolds like a silent cartography, where matter becomes language. The white, worked in relief, is organized into fluid, almost topographical lines, evoking waves, breaths or imperceptible movements that traverse space.
Touches of brown dots punctuate this surface. Dense and deep, they evoke a living, almost earthy substance, like fragments taken from a landscape in motion. Their warm hue, with its deep brown nuances, gently captures the… light, revealing a rich and enveloping texture.
The contrast between the purity of the background and the warmth of these forms creates a subtle balance, between tension and serenity. The eye moves freely, guided by these undulating lines that never become fixed. There is neither beginning nor end, only a rhythm, a breath. Conceived as an extension of space, the work embodies a quest for harmony between structure and sensation.
