About this artwork
In this piece, I expressed the deep soul of my mountainous homeland, using vibrant acrylics to capture the light and shadow of every corner. I wanted to convey the connection between nature and home, that peace that only the countryside can offer. When you see it, you'll feel the warm and welcoming energy that invites you to breathe freedom and serenity in any space. It's a hug from my homeland to you!

Didier Franco is a Colombian painter who from a young age has considered art as a way of life. Working primarily in acrylics, Franco’s subject matter is broad and ever-changing; he depicts the urban and the rural, the intimate and the collective, the natural and the created. The artist’s distinctive style particularly revolves around his use of color.
