About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the tension between gentleness and strength. The ink gives an almost palpable intensity to the bluish skin, while the yellow knot illuminates with a vibrant energy.

Didier Mignot
France
Didier Mignot, a self-taught artist, explores analog photography and colored ink painting on his prints. He crafts his works by meticulously hand-painting, creating a unique and unconventional style of photographer-painter. His creations, oscillating between fantasy, apocalypse, and spirituality, immerse the viewer in a dreamlike universe, sometimes wondrous, sometimes unsettling. He seeks to evoke a visual shock, an instant emotional plunge into a symbolic world of light or darkness.
