Ik heb intense emoties geïnjecteerd in elk penseelstreek, om een dynamische en toch intieme atmosfeer te scheppen. In the seventies, David Bowie was known as Ziggy Stardust and a lot of other alter egos. Remembering… him with beautiful suits and his unconventional appearance. He is a real pop icon. The largest painting Dido made was a portrait of David Bowie of 180x180 cm for a high-end music fair. Later it was bought by Wifimedia Experience Center for their showroom. This painting is a smaller one for sale.
Acrylic on canvas, the sides are painted. Framing is not necessary.

Dido de Beer is an experienced graphic designer based in the Netherlands whose vibrant portraits are inspired by both pop art and pop icons of music and cinema. In her artistic process, she cites the power of omission, while also keeping her subject's resemblance, as being one of her greatest challenges. De Beer's distinctive works are most often created with acrylics on large-scale canvases.
