The soft sensation of one's hand touching fresh water, the calmness and smoothness, the peace , can be compared to a mother's tender touch, a caress. The notion of mother is a sacred one, speaking of humans or of animals. After all, humans are mammals.
The peaceful moment of a mother lioness drinking water calmly with her little ones , caring for each one of them, can be parallel to the softness of a caress, to the calmness of simply touching water.
