About this artwork
Original mixed media painting ( acrylic paints, oil pastels, colored pencils and paper ) on stretched canvas.
Size: 70 X 80 cm
The artwork is signed on the front and includes a Certificate of Authenticity.
The painting is done on gallery stretched canvas using top quality paints and materials.
It is ready to hang on the wall.
This painting is supplied unframed.
The edges have also been painted, so it is not necessary to frame it.
A layer of varnish… has been used to protect it against UV rays and dust.
Very careful packaging done by me personally.
In creating this abstract painting, I chose a blend of acrylics, collage elements, oil pastels, and colored pencils to layer emotions and experiences, much like the layers of memory in a person's mind. Each fragmented, textured square represents a memory box, capturing fleeting moments and feelings. This piece brings a vibrant yet thought-provoking energy to any space, inviting the viewer to unlock the echoes of their own past.

Dimitra Papageorgiou, a self-taught artist, utilizes oils, acrylics, and mixed mediums chiefly on canvas and old wood. She evolved from impressionistic and figurative artworks to a looser, more abstract style using varied brushstrokes, textures, and vibrant colors. Akin to a tranquil day at the beach of dreams, her art encapsulates the fleeting balance between the strength and fragility of nature, especially her beloved seascapes.
