About this artwork
Expressive waterfall, painted in the author’s technique using various painting techniques from brush to palette knife. The dynamic composition and soft colours evoke a lot of associations of falling water in the viewer and a desire to consider the picture both from afar and plunging into details.
Dimitri Strelkov
Russia
« I am an abstract artist with a recognizable and personal style, creating expressive, colorful textured abstractions with dynamic compositions, using different techniques, including a palette knife! »
Dimitri Strelkov is a Russian artist who believes that true freedom of creativity in its "purest form" is abstraction. He weaves together various styles into what he refers to as "abstract eclecticism". Fusing painting techniques with textures as well as an "expressive and dynamic compositional structure" allows Strelkov to create a unique mutli-dimmensional world.
