« The rust in my work echoes our history- witnessing humanity and travelling through time. Rather than being synonymous with old worthless things, I try to give my works a certain nobility through this technique. »
Dizzy is a prizewinning painter from France whose works have been exhibited nationally. Using the innovative technique of oxidation in his work, Dizzy creates paintings based on movement and dynamism and inspired by sports and athletes. He reinvents materials of rust and decay by superimposing figures onto metal in acrylics, then using oxidation of the material as a medium in itself.
