About this artwork
This canvas belongs to my ongoing exploration of life’s cycles — its wounds, its intensity, its persistence. Deep blues and blacks form a dense, restless undergrowth, while bursts of red and coral push through like pulses of blood or memory refusing to fade. Thick ridges of white cut across the surface like scars or lightning — fractures that hold the composition together rather than tearing it apart.
I build these layers with a palette knife, working… intuitively rather than planning ahead, letting each stroke respond to the one before it. The result is a kind of controlled chaos — raw, physical, almost violent in places — that mirrors how life itself moves: through tension, rupture, and renewal
