About this artwork
"Que du bonheur" was made in 2023 on a 91x117 cm linen canvas. These formats allowed me to free my gesture to apply the colors without restraint. For me, color is happiness in tubes, in pots, applied with a brush, a spatula or in projections on a wet or dry background. Anything goes to let my emotions speak when I paint on the ground, to music. It's a joyful dance that puts my body into action and can never end. The yellow background dominates but…
there is always blue and orange not far away. A few projections of white paint diluted with water warm up the dark blue spots. A canvas that warms hearts and interiors.
