About this artwork
This abstract painting conveys an aphonic explosion of energy. The image of the dancer in the center is jagged and not well defined. The audience is a mixture of different shapes on the right side of the painting. Red on both sides is for the curtains in the background. Black at the bottom forms the stage. The white throughout indicate purity and innocence. The white drips running down the scene are used to convey confetti thrown by the audience…
to indicate their happiness with the dancer. The richness of color in the painting is caused by the layering of the acrylics.
