This original abstract impressionist painting was inspired by the paintings of Ivan Aivazovsky who painted spectacular seascapes.
The waves are full of furry and the sky shows that there are storms raging. The sea has moved over the sand. In the background the viewer can see a statue that represents the statue of liberty in the US. This is an emotional painting that draws the viewer into the painting to feel what the artist feels when it comes… to immigrating to the greatest country in the world. This artist used bold blocks of color to achieve a new spatial scene. There are underlying triangular, square, and oval shapes throughout this painting.
