About this artwork
When, in the garden, the blooming of the flowers is at its best, I capture these beauties by photographing them. This allows me to look for interesting details in order to be able to style my painted flowers. Peonies inspire me a lot mainly the hearts of these flowers which are absolutely fascinating. With the structural mortar, I allow myself to sculpt these flower hearts on my paintings. This gives a nice texture that I can vary depending on the… movement I make with the spatula. Here is a way of transferring reality into imaginary! The flowers above this rigid rectangular pot bring the expected sweetness in the composition of a flower pot. The canvas is varnished, ready to hang and painted on the sides in black.
« Passionate and in love with the beauty of nature and eager to transmit through my art of happiness. »
