The bouquet with its unusual and completely unreal shapes through real flowers stands out in its pot composed of structural mortar and foliage of dried ferns picked in my garden. The pot appears to be sailing dangerously on rough seas. Japanese paper collages are among the materials used in this still life composition. A multicolored bouquet is essential.… The small shapes that twirl around the bouquet bring a slight movement around. I like to mix the real with the imaginary in my compositions in order to destabilize the whole and that we ask ourselves questions while looking at the work.
