About this artwork
In this work I explored nostalgia and melancholy through the semi-abstract image of a teddy bear. Using acrylic, collage and graffiti elements on canvas, I seek to capture the complexity of childhood memories. Dark colours contrasted with bright bursts reflect the fragments of joy amongst the faded memories. This piece evokes an intimate reflection, adding depth and emotion to any space it is displayed in.
