About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to merge the robustness of wood and the fragility of clay to explore the duality of human nature. The bust in assembly evokes the dictatorship of aesthetics. Holding a hammer, the figure seems to shape her body, symbolizing what society imposes on women. It is a piece that exudes strength and inspires reflection on our submission to the image.
