Deep within the heart of a mythical dragon, the Jade Dragon gazes out into the world—flaming green, vibrant, and imbued with ancient earth energy. This work embodies the spirit of jade, a mineral that has been considered a symbol of wisdom, harmony, and protection for millennia. Especially in Chinese culture, jade is not just a gemstone—it is a guardian of the balance between body, mind, and spirit.
The vibrant green tones… seem to unfold from a dark center—as if the essence of the stone itself were breaking open to release its healing power into the space. The dynamic movement of the forms is reminiscent of jade veins running through massive layers of rock—powerful, organic, and full of grace.
I have given this work a high gloss finish.
Its surface is correspondingly shiny to glassy.
