« I am always looking for the boundary between abstract and concrete, contrasting colors and shapes and a strong composition. The result must remain exciting and interesting. »
Donald van Schilt is an experienced artist from the Netherlands whose work has been featured in solo and group shows in his home country. After founding his own design agency, he began exploring his creative expression thanks to his father's emerging art practice. Working first in digital collage, he creates semi abstract compositions of urban spaces and historical figures and then layers paint, cardboard, and screen printing on top of the images.
