About this artwork
Working with acrylic is a meditative process in which I follow spontaneous ideas and allow organic forms to emerge intuitively. These abstract structures arise from the unconscious, while my rational side gradually gives them meaning and direction.
I create my acrylic paintings with translucent colours using the glazing technique. Multiple layers build depth and complexity, allowing light and colour to interact through the surface.
The painting… is created on a gesso-primed HDF panel. The rigid support provides stability for the layered surface, and the finished artwork is protected with clear acrylic varnish. Ready to hang.
