The spiral is a predominant symbol in early human art. It is found in Ice Age Europe as well as among the San Bushmen/Women in southern Africa. It occurs for the first time in the 7th
millennium BC in southern Europe. On my various study trips to Malta, Crete and
I've been looking for this symbol several times to Africa and Australia and press it again and again
in my pictures.
